Night Of Stars Photo Contest


West Palm Beach, FL -- The Night Of Stars Committee and the American Greyhound Track Operators Association recently held the NOS Greyhound Pets Photo contest. The winners were shown in conjunction with the live telecast of NOS XV at hundreds of racing facilities throughout the country. The NOS telecast features 17 exciting races from tracks across the country and benefits and promotes greyhound adoption.

Over 100 photos were received from greyhound pet owners from all over the country. Entries were judged on their overall presentation, appeal, the message, the "smile factor", character, etc. This years top winners came from Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Oregon, Massachusetts and Florida.

"We thoroughly enjoy receiving the greyhound pet pictures for the contest. The photos are wonderful and typically each one comes with a heart-warming story. People are just crazy about their pet greyhounds and it shows in the photos we receive," said Theresa Hume, Palm Beach Kennel Club Director of Publicity and contest coordinator. "We thank the many people who’ve adopted these beautiful animals and thanks everyone for submitting their loving photos," she added.
